Forward Fuselage Construction

The fist step in the forward fuselage construction is to get the blasted firewall lined up in all 3 dimensions...this takes patience and a lot of plumb bobs and levels.  Right now the 2 passengers would get alot of wind if this plane were to fly....and hey...where is the instrument panel!

Once you have the firewall situated you can then get the side skins on and riveted to the firewall to hold it in place.  Trimming out the sides skins is very easy and will only take a couple of hours.  I thought that this would have been difficult but is not.

Get your rudder pedals installed and all the forward fuselage flooring.  Note the fuel tank supports.

Took 6months to build the forward fuselage...
